Testrite stocks a 90 degree die cast zinc L corners for our 7/8” OD thin walled tubing. We also stock a 95 degree die cast L corner for our 1” OD thin walled tubing. Both include holes for affixing to tubing. Tight pressure fit ensures sturdy construction.

Tube Expansion and Indenting

Typically, an outside tube is indented providing a stop for an inside tube with an expanded line.

Threaded Connector (low cost)

These steel threaded tubing inserts are placed into a tube with hydraulic forces. Once in, the design of the fins help keep the connector secure. While appropriate for many applications, these are not appropriate for higher stress applications. They can be used with round or square tubing.

Tube Notched Ends for Joining

By notching a tube end and intersecting with another tube using tube connectors at 90 degrees, a strong, cost effective joint is achieved.

Tube Bending

We bend aluminum tubing and we bend steel tubing for various applications. Certain diameters and radii only.

Tube Piercing

For small runs, we can mill out slots or other irregular shapes in a tube. For larger runs, our in house toolmakers can manufacture a die which is much more efficient for production.

Swaging

Swaged aluminum tubing provides an economical way to form leg ends, so one leg nests into another. A swage and spring button can be an option. Swaging features close tolerances and provides great strength. We are tooled up for 3/4", 1", 1-1/4", and 1-1/2" diameters. For other diameters - there is a one time, non-recurring setup charge. Available with and without optional steel Spring Button or Shock cord.

Spring Button Telescopic Tube Ends

Use Spring Button Ends to join telescopic tubes together and to attach accessories. Spring button ends are a cost efficient treatment for aluminum tube assemblies, enabling tool free attachment to other tubes or accessories. Available for all diameters.

Welding

Testrite is proud to weld both aluminum and steel in house. We have in house Mig welding for aluminum and steel, as well as spot welding of steel and butt welding for steel. If welding is right for your project, we’re happy to quote as per your needs.

Spring Buttons

Can use to join telescopic tubes together when one fits into another. Best with non-rotational tubing.

Threaded Connectors

We can manufacture your custom telescopic aluminum tubing with male or female Threaded Connectors. Use one of each to join two tubes together. Very cost effective. Available for all diameters. Available in 1/4 - 20 or 10-32 in many sizes. Other threads available for particular diameters.

Plastic 3-Way Snap Corners Assemblies

Solid Aluminum Bushing

We manufacture our own turned aluminum bushings in house. Each is made from a single piece of aluminum. They are press fit in. In most sizes of tubing (all but our smallest diameters), we drill holes in the tube and bushing after installation and secure the bushing in place with steel pins. Solid bushings offer the strongest possible connection outside of welding.

1" & 1-1/4" Plastic L and T Corners

We have our own 90 degree plastic corners for aluminum tubing. L-shaped corners in 1" and 1-1/4" diameters. We also stock plastic 3-way T-shaped connectors for our 1-1/4" diameter tubing. These connectors are typically fastened with rivets or spring buttons. 90° Corner also available for 7/8" OD tubing in zinc die cast.

Swivel Mechanisms and Swivel Joints

We are a manufacturer of custom automatic screw machine parts to pair with custom aluminum tubes, or our frames.

External Tube Thread

We can manufacture your custom telescopic aluminum tubing with threading on the outer wall. These aluminum tubes with external tube threads can be used for our A Clutch lock, or to mate with your parts.

Custom Wire Forming

Testrite is a manufacturer of custom wire forms. We can bend steel wire and form steel wire to suit your need, and preinstall in an aluminum bushing. We can bend wire shapes and attach them to round telescopic aluminum tubes, square telescopic steel tubes, steel bases, and more. All made to order in the USA

Rubber End Caps and Crutch Tips

Low cost, skid resistant, rubber end caps and crutch tips are available for our most popular telescopic tube diameters.

Plastic End Cap Closures

To finish off the top or bottom of your telescopic tube assembly, a plastic end cap is an economical option. Options include flat or rounded. Need something custom? Reach out! We've made many types of custom endcaps, including aluminum end caps

Foam Handles and Grips

Handles and grips for our telescopic tubing are available for most diameters.

Metal Leg Spikes

We can manufacture custom Ground Stakes or Metal Leg Spikes for attachment to a custom telescopic tube assembly. Both fixed and fold-out leg spikes/ground spikes are available, these custom steel shapes can be made to your specifications.

Flattened Paddle End

For tubing applications that require a flat end, we can flatten our tubing and round the corners for a pragmatic solution that's both economical attractive. Where attachment at the paddle end is needed, we can provide a hole thru the paddle end.

Plastic Phenolic Knobs

We stock a variety of plastic knobs to pair with your custom telescopic tube project. Male and female knobs are available in black and silver (in select styles). We also manufacture custom aluminum parts and custom steel pins (quantity dependent)

Male and Female Aluminum Pucks

Testrite manufactures male and female pucks. Our pucks are primarily made from aluminum and can be made for nearly any thread size. Pucks can be customized with or without a shoulder, knurled edge, custom sizes, custom finishing, and more!

Angle Cut End

We recognize a straight cut isn't right for every application. We can provide custom angle cut aluminum tubing. Custom angle cuts also available for steel tubing applications.

Tubing with Embedded Compression Spring

Testrite offers compression springs inside of telescopic tubing assembly. These are sometimes used to create tension after fully extending a tube, or allowing the tube to shrink during installation in a fixed area. These can be used with a spring button, allowing locking the tube in a or without. Telescoping tubes with compression springs are available with a variety of spring sizes.

Snap-On Plastic Flats

Plastic Snap-On Flats allow for easily adding accessories, crossbars, and more to round tubing. Available for 3/4", 1", 1-1/4" and 1-1/2" diameters. Great for taping, riveting or velcro-ing telescopic tubing attachments.

Graphic Sign Channels

Steel U Channel for holding graphics can be welded directly to steel, or a male thread can be attached for connecting to a female thread.

VM Clamps

We have a wide range of graphic attachment options for our tubing, including our beautiful aluminum Visual Merchandising (VM) clamps. Ideal for holding graphics, these clamps are available in two sizes and support a variety of graphic thicknesses.

Embedded Washer

Washers can be embedded into our telescopic tubes. This can act as a stop, allow the tube to rest inside of an opening only up to a certain point, or accomplish a range of additional needs. Specialized washers and stops for our aluminum tubing are something we welcome.

Aluminum Shaft Collar with Set Screw

Testrite manufactures aluminum shaft collars to mate with our 1/8" increment tubing. These can be made to order to accomodate any size round tubing up to 1-1/2" OD. Optional set screw or knob provide locking at a given height. Need an accessory attached to the shaft collar? Just ask!

Screw On End Caps

Testrite can manufacture internally threaded aluminum end caps to mate with our aluminum tubing. We thread the outside of our tube with a like thread to enable easy attachment. Caps can be made smooth or with a knurl pattern. We can customize the OD of the end cap, as well as the height and depth.
