Finishing
Custom Powder Coated
Powder coating can be done in any color (in quantity). Supply a specific pantone color code and we can get a close powder match. Powder coating is an excellent choice – covers well, is durable, and is not affected by sunlight. The application process is environmentally friendly and service is speedy.
Gold Aluminum Tubing, Gold Steel Tubing, & Brass Plated Parts
Bright dip gold anodized aluminum tubing is available for order, as are brass plated steel parts and thin brass plated steel tubing. Gold anodized telescopic tubing is made to order, often paired with our aluminum clutch lock in a matching gold anodized finish.
Etched and Clear Anodized Aluminum Tubing
Etched and clear satin anodized aluminum tubing is an aesthetically beautiful and cost effective finish that properly “seals” and protects the aluminum tube though some surface imperfections are normal and visible. We stock all our aluminum tube diameters in this finish, both rounded aluminum tubing and non-rotational aluminum tubing.
Mill Finish Aluminum Tubing
Mill finish – i.e. unfinished as received from the mill. Will show imperfections and is not sealed. Thus, if you were to run your hand over it, your hand will show black smudges. Bypassing anodizing does save cost and is good in applications for parts that will not be seen. We stock all our aluminum tube diameters in this finish, both rounded and non-rotational.
Black Matte Telescopic Tubing
The Black Matte telescopic tubing finish is a handsome and popular choice. All our telescopic tubing diameters are typically stocked in limited quantities either anodized or powder coated black matte (practically indistinguishable from each other). Black matte does cost more than etched and clear satin anodized.
Logo Printing
Testrite can imprint full color logos on a variety of surfaces, including our round aluminum tubing and our flat steel bases. Logos print with incredible detail and vibrancy. Ability to imprint and durability will vary by application – reach out to our team to discuss today!
Exterior Knurling Tubing
While foam grips are great for many applications, some applications require tubing that will not slip through hands or gloves. Testrite has the ability to add a knurl to the outside of our tubing to increase friction between the user and the tubing. As shown in this example, Testrite added two grip sections, showing the operator where to place each hand.
